The time has come for my next Pokeyman fanart! Down with Ho-oh haters!
Honestly I'm not too happy with this but it looks better now that I got rid of the lineart. I have this incredible ability to draw disgusting lines. The rainbow is cheesy I know, but you can't draw Ho-oh without a rainbow.

Yay! Ever since Gold came out in 1998, I've always loved Ho-oh -- not because it's a legendary (though it's a nice bonus), but I've always loved birds, and Ho-oh is so much cooler than poor Lugia (too draconic for my taste), Noctowl, Murkow with her weird witch hat, Skamory, Fearow (not too bad, but I've been staring at Fearow's form since 1997. It gets old) and poor Pidegot (same as Fearow).
Anyways, I really love the pose - feetsies!

Dude, you can not leave Ho-oh/Ho-Oh without a rainbow. This bird is apparently 'genderless' unlike Lugia who apparently have babies. XD
I <3 Ho-Oh. Much better than Moltres, even if it isn't on fire. Beautiful lighting, shading, background and such.

Yeah, well he did appear in the very first episode. Most people thought it was a Moltres though.
I guess it does demonstrate that even in the early days, they already knew there was going to be a 2nd gen.

Horrible name though it is, apparently it's derived from the Japanese translation for the Chinese Phoenix. Too bad we didn't get the Chinese translation for the creature, but I suppose being a Japanese company they're more likely to use a Japanese wording.
...Which means I blame Nintendo of America for not changing it on our end!
