hello my friends,at this point, I have so much work to show you, and so little time,m that I have decided to skip past the majority of my sketchbooks for the 2012 year, for now. I will over the next week or so upload the highlights of this era, and then hopefully resume with more frequent updates starting from the beginning of my current moleskine. I also have some large scale things to show, and some interesting class assignments, so please do stay tuned. I hope to fill you in on the missing pages at some point, but right now, I really feel that everything I have online needs to get up to date as quickly as possible. I thank all of you who are still watching me for bearing with me, and I am always amazed to see that there are still people coming to favorite my work. better times are ahead.
so then, here is the opening page to a sketchbook from four sketchbooks ago (about a year and a half ago). it is one of my first explorations into fairly saturated color, and I still rather like it. so then.... Ciao!

Β This is still one of my favorite pieces in your gallery. I know it's "old" now but I'd love to see some more of these past sketchbook pages. The ideas are so beautiful, especially with the colors! I assume they're paints. It'd be cool to see class work too. What kind of courses were you taking back then? did they go well for you?
