as said above, the minor details of the plane and nails didn't stand out to me until mentioned... the texture of the rocks gives the piece great life

wonderful shot. and yes.. the rock probably is uncomfortable.. yet models have to go through tons of uncomfortable things to get a point of view across.. but again, very nice work.

I think it's an incredible shot. I don't see anything pornographic about it at all. She's not touching herself, she's not spreading herself open, it's a natural pose. Fantastic job.

I love this shot. I am amazed at all the people here that are afraid of pussy. Good lord people, if you don't like it....MOVE ON!!! I am going to try to not let my rant take over here. I'm just irritated with the damn "too much" "banned" bullshit!
Ok, the only thing I would like better is if the feet weren't cut out / cut off. I don't have a thing for feet, but I think there would be a better overall flow to the image. This is more technical than anything really.
I do love the image and bravo to you and your model. Speaking from experience it is equally as difficult to find a photographer who is not only capable of capturing such a great image but one who can actually control himself. When I read some comments I'm so grateful not to shoot with people like that.
I will continue watching you for future images.

just my opinion ... beautiful girl, but this really seems like more porn than artistic nude
the focus is obvious with this one and the size that you posted it at pretty much insures that the watcher will go straight for the vagina
I just don't want stuff like this to ruin it for all of the other genuine artistic nude photographers and models here on dA - if deviations like this are constantly submitted, we might see the end of the entire 'artistic nude' section - and nobody wants that
this submission could be easily modified and resubmitted so it's not so much like porn - just a little cropping and it's all done

I've been looking at this and I agree with you completely
trust me, I'm not against nudity like this at all, in fact, artistic nudes what I do (check out my fav's for examples) it just seemed at the time like her crotch is what the photo was kind of leading to
but after looking at it and reflecting for a while, I see now that I was wrong
I really shouldn't have commented on this like I did without studying the art more carefully - my bad ... I did not and would not ever report something like this BTW

Did you really have to submit it that big..... I'm a nude model but damn im glad thats not me i think its a little over board. If only her left leg was just a little bit moved over to her right leg and her back a little arched i think you would have got the same effect but just not as open

Very hard pose to get without making it look sexual, you did good, this is a very nice shot in my opinion, but you could have found a little more shadows to use.
(If you think this is too pornagraphic, then you are either a prude or someone with overactive hormones and can't see past the sexual organs to see into the art.)

I just saw this picture linked to as I was reading an article about the controversy over "Porn vs. Art" or whatnot.
I think that this is a great image, and that the composition is very strong, due to the placement of her legs, the sharp angle of the crack in the rock and the dramatic division of the picture into thirds.
I do have an issue with the full-view size of the picture...and thought that might be why some people see it as "overly explicit" or whatever.
forgive my frankness, but as i'm scrolling down to see the whole thing, when i get near the bottom, i'm fell like i'm in her vagina. honestly, i don't want to be, as it's not the focus of the picture.
i could understand having to scroll to maybe see her feet, or the top of her head, but being face-to-face with open legs & vagina isn't my idea of fun when looking at art...
I understand that there are certain instances in which that rule doesn't apply, at least for me (allegories of flowers to vagina, etc.), but, in this case the huge size detracts from the art which you've created.
just my ideas, people may have other reasons, but, other than that, i love it.
