+ tyler tends to focus on the brighter side of things and he is very enthusiastic when it comes to things he likes. he's quite playful and likes to joke around alot, but some times that comes off in a different way and people may think that he's dumb or dim-witted and only likes to mess around, when that's not exactly true. he's very persistent and actually hard-working once he gets passionate about something. he's very sociable and charismatic and making friends is quite easy for him as he's not really afraid to talk to anyone. tyler is open-minded as well and is always down to try something new.+

[ reason for joining ] he wants to get in touch with his old life, he wants to reconnect and try something different
[ what they can contribute ] he's open minded and charismatic. he's also talented in the arts.tyler huang, known to his father as huang tai-xun, spent the first few years of his life in hong kong. he was born there, on july 23rd 2002. his mother and father were not necessarily on good terms with eachother at the time. tyler's mother didn't want him, even from the start of her pregnancy. she was considering giving him up for adoption after if his father wasn't going to be there. tyler's father was young and inexperienced, but he still wanted him. his parents just couldn't agree on anything, not even the name on his birth certificate, hence why tyler's father still calls him tai xun, even though his legal name is tyler. tyler's parents were never married, so his mother fled hongkong a couple months after having him and left him with his father.the first years of tyler's life in hong kong were pretty uneventful, he can't even remember much from it. he really only remembers having to stay with his grandparents most of the time, since his father had to work. later on, when he was about four or five, he and his father moved to america. tyler was sad about this, because he believed he would never see his grandparents again, but his father consoled him by telling him that his grandparents would come there too. they only visited about two-three times though. luckily, tyler moved to america when he was about to start kindergarten, that way it wasn't too hard for him to learn english because everyone there was already still starting out, still learning their abc's. tyler made friends easily, as he was very sociable. he would often disrupt the class by making jokes or doing something that elementary schoolers thought was funny, earning him the title of the class clown through most of his school career.

when tyler was about eight, his father married an american woman who went by the name of evelyn. evelyn was a successful business woman who was not fond of children. she had none of her own and no plan to have any anytime soon. she just disliked them, and it made her wary of marrying his father, but she loved him enough to go with it. evelyn never payed attention to tyler during the times she was home, and any time he would try to start a conversation with her, she would shut him down or belittle him. although, during the times she wasn't home, tyler would go out with his friends since neither of his parents were there. evelyn was rarely physically abusive to tyler, more emotionally abusive and neglecting. tyler's father was unaware of all of this. this went on for a very long time.

eventually, tyler got fed up with it and tried to tell his father what evelyn has been doing to him. tyler's father refused to believe him, and evelyn began to deny all of tyler's accusations every time he tried to bring them up. tyler felt suffocated in that home. he was a person who rarely wanted to be left alone, but at this time he did. he tried running away, but barely made it a block away before reconsidering. if he was going to leave, he wanted a destination. he begged his father to let him go back to hong kong and live with his grandparents, and that's where he is now.
