+ Hui doesn't like to spend his time doing nothing, so he has many hobbies to keep himself occupied. Any tasks given to him, he'll complete it diligently. He also doesn't like to spend money unnecessarily since his financial situation isn't so great. He would rush to any promotional events or discounts at the market just to save a little money. Hui isn't good at receiving compliments because it overwhelms him and makes him shy. After dealing with plenty of misfortune in his life, he learned to become patient when dealing with problems and goes by the saying "things happen when it happens".

Hui's parents are native residents in Guizhou, China, where Hui was born and raised there until he was 5. They moved to Hong Kong in hopes to attain a more stable life and better living conditions for Hui. But of course, it's not that easy as economic pressures are still high and working environments are still tough, but it was better than the life they had in Guizhou. Few years later however, Hui's parents got themselves in debt because the boss they thought they trusted, manipulated them which also costs them their job. No job, no money -- the news spread fast between parents of the primary school Hui attended at the time, and he quickly became an outcast.

Life seemed like it was ending for his family, but as if there was a small ray of light shining through darkness, one parent from the primary school -- who owns a relatively big company and is pretty well-off -- offered to pay off their debt. Of course, they weren't going to do it for free. His parents were offered jobs at the company where they can pay off their debt gradually and with less pressure. It was almost too good to be true and there was a probability there were evil intentions but Hui's parents were desperate and accepted the offer.

Fortunately, the offer was genuine, but it was a huge some to pay off. Watching his parents working endlessly, always looking tired when they come back home, sometimes too tired to even eat dinner, Hui didn't have the heart to tell them about his days at school. He once used to tell them everything, even the mundane things, and they would react as enthusiastically. Eventually, he kept a lot of things to himself and don't ask from his parents much. He does everything he can to save what little they have and stayed out of trouble in school. He decided to work hard in school, get into a good college, and get a stable job to repay his parents for everything.

Eventually, secondary school came and Hui enrolled to a nearby government school, Kowloon Foo Yee Tsan. It's a reputable school that prepares students for college, and most importantly it was affordable. When it was time to choose clubs, LSB piqued his interest. He's always loved reading articles online and wondered about the process behind it and would like to take part in the process.
