Another interpretation of yet another Star Trek Online ship design. This time it's the Patrol Escort or the Dervish class to be exact!

I like this design because I think that it's quite an interesting mix of aggressive and sharp edges and the classic Starfleet design formula.

They were some elements however with which I parted from the original.
For one I added a shuttlebay and reduced the number of windows to a more appropiate number for a frontline warship.
I also changed the "Center Pylons" to have them appear more similar to the mission pods you see on the Nebula-class.

Hopefully this will help to have this ship appear more functional than it's ingame counterpart.

I should also note that the texture is based on the one I made for my Emissary class to keep both within the same graphical style
and that this model is also rather heavy on intersecting geometry ...
