Hi there, I present you my take on Cryptic's design of the Pasteur and by extension the Daedalus aswell.
A vessel that first appeared in the very last TNG episode "All Good Things" and that stood out due to it's ball shaped "saucer" section.

Cryptic expanded that design somewhat with their tier 3 science vessel.
Their biggest change is the circular deflector embedded into the spheric part of the hull,
giving it a more functional and utilitarian appearance than it's onscreen counterpart.

I really didn't change much in this case, except that I recreated the combination of ship parts that I liked best.
My model here is also another atrocity when it comes to intersecting geometry.
