I've only now realized that it could be taken as Xydan will always be inferior... Hah. Lame is me.I'm actually satisfied with this work. I've noticed that I produce my better work when I'm doing it for someone else. Of course, I have to want to do it but still...
The chances of me making something good also seems to increase when I've been idle for a while. Maybe I'm saving up my creative juice.
For this deviation, I've tried a new way of lining and coloring the hair. I also put some effort into the folds.
It's for I hope you don't mind if I submit this to the club.
Since it's a gift, please don't critique. If you must, wait until after =Windnstorm sees it.
Oh and if you can't tell, Xelcan is about to tickle Xydan and if Xydan's like me, he'll react before anything actually happens so that's why he's laughing and covering his sides.

Just look at Xelcan's hands, they are awesome.

BTW, i like the new lineart and coloring style you used. I find it a lottle bit more realistic. Xydan's hair turned really stylish here. <3

I was afraid it would look weird since the hands weren't exactly mirror image but thanks to you, I feel better now. Yeah, after trying for a realistic-cartoonish style, this is what I came up with. It'll get better and though I might not be lame, you'll always be cooler than me.

Aww! This is so cute! x3 I really like how the hair has no black lining around it, it makes it really interesting to the eye. 8D The line weight is pretty ace and I <3 how Xydan's little flick of hair is floating.

Thanks. I was always worried that if there's no outline for the hair then it would stand apart from the rest of the picture but I feel better knowing that now. The line variation is something new that I'm trying and for every one of my deviation of Xydan, I try to have that strand of hair.

Well, I was on the bottom so... up up up UP! Maybe throw in a couple of downs in there but the end result should be an up. And Xy likes bright green while Xelc likes bright blue and I was at a loss of clothes design so... But I throw in a dark black shirt for you!
