Description
IMPORTANT: This theme is no longer under development by myself. Get this fav.me/d6nnkk8 insteadTHIS IS ONLY FOR 3.6
Hello,
eOS is a GNOME Shell theme that gives your GNOME desktop an 'Elementary' feel.
I ported a lot of features from DanRabbit's mockups and actual eOS parts, like: Plank, Pantheon Shell, Wing Panel... My goal is to make the most accurate Elementary theme.
Known Bugs
- None. But I would appreciate it if actual elementary users compared this theme and their eOS to see if something is off. I want to have a 1:1 clone.
Changelog
10/10/2011: 1.2b
20/10/2011: 1.2b2
27/01/2012: 1.2
08/02/2012: 1.2.1
30/05/2012: 1.4
27/11/2012: 1.6
- Fixed for GNOME Shell 3.6.
This depends on: Droid Sans and Open Sans(light).
Ubuntu users can install this and/or a previous version from the Noobslab PPA(not officially supported by myself):
ppa:noobslab/themes

I wonder if its from gtk theme or from yours, but - [link]
it seems selection rectangle isn't transparent. Mb someone know a fix for that?

I don't think a GS has the ability to control that rectangle, but you'll never know. Try maybe changing both the GTK and GS themes, one at a time.

Great theme! Excellent work!
The only thing is, maybe, that in the dock the icon are too close... Maybe a bit more spacing is better!
I see like only 2px of spacing... Maybe is just me XD

I love this theme, but it doesn't work with gnome 3.4 anymore. Any chance for an update?

Yes, it's done. I'm waiting for a certain something to come out so I can support it.

Hey, what GTK+ and icon theme do you use with this?
Also, I have a problem, the icon setup in the Applications overview is pretty messed up, it seems like the icons are larger than the area they should be in; they are getting over the application names and all...
Anyway, great theme!

I recommend Orion GTK and Faience. As for the problem, it's happening because you're using a 3.2-compatible theme with GS 3.4. An update will fix that soon.

You can't apply it in Ubuntu directly, you need to install GNOME Shell. You can learn how to do that here > [link]

Sorry, you can't. This is for GNOME Shell. I think there's an Elementary theme for Cinnamon here [link] ; it's not mine, though.

Great theme! What icon and gtk theme would you recommend?

Right now, I recommend Orion GTK3 with eGTK Metacity(Mutter). For the icons, a blue Faience or any theme with blue/grey folders.

I use this theme with Ubuntu Light font (10px in panel) instead and it looks awesome! Thanks.

Yes. It seems to be one faulty version of Faience. Thanks for your help.
