I really love how this one is turning out.
My only concern now is the trigger... shouldn't it be like [link] ?

Good luck with all the new splines

that's actually the image i was working from . i changed the trigger slightly for the final render but on a lot of this i took the liberty to change little details

holy moly i hate using splines, but sometimes it's the only thing that can get the job done. i had to use a bunch on my RPG

grrrrr i'm so with you on that one brother . it wasn't really fun but even as complex as it was , it was still easier to use Splines instead of trying to hack a Cube into that grip

i know what you mean. my problem is sometimes i can't figure out which would be easier to use. specially since i like to smooth my objects. with splines it becomes impossible to smooth(because of all the edges that get created when you extrude the spline) and with a box you just can't get the right shape... i think i'm not making any sense here. hopefully you get what i mean. i guess it's my lack of experience or something.

lol . i understand . i don't extrude Splines . like for this grip i drew the outline , duplicated it , made that smaller and moved it slightly to the side , then connected those two splines into one with a Lathe ... etc . repeated until i had all of the sides made and did a lot of manual point moving (copy/paste coords) to make the edges align

haha with max you draw out a spline and use a "shell modifier" to get that job done and it basically does what it sounds like. gives it a shell. but if you do that there is no way of smoothing best you can do is chamfer(i believe bevel in c4D and maya) the edges to give it that smooth look
