The whole war with the Revolutionary Army and The Empire would have been a lot easier and quicker for the former, since Vegeta would easily overwhelm the entire Imperial Army by himself with extreme ease; I can see the Imperial soldiers firing at Vegeta with the bullets bouncing off of him without any harm. All the major obstacles like the Jeagers, Wild Hunt, Budo, and Shikoutazer would be no problem with Vegeta on the Revolutionary Arm's side. With Vegeta joining the Revolutionary Army, the tables would completely turn in the Revolutionary Army's favor.

Of course, Esdeath would surely want to fight Vegeta after learning of him and how powerful he is. I can see her and Vegeta going at it, but when Vegeta gets series, he'll easily overwhelm her. None of Esdeath's attacks would even phase Vegeta, one series punch or kick or energy blast and Esdeath would be dead, no to mention Vegeta is way faster than her and can fly. 

Also, depending when Vegeta arrives in the Akame Ga Kill world, certain events and character deaths would likely not happen. If he arrives somewhere at the start of the series, Sheela, Bulat, Chelsea, Susanoo, Lubbock and Leone are likely going to live to the end, since Vegeda's immense speed would easily allow him to prevent their deaths and save them.
