Shattered I8β x 8β pencil on hot press board.
This is a small pencil drawing of a smashed light bulb. Set up as a still life with low lighting and a low view (worm eye) this was a very interesting drawing to execute. This is only the first part of a diptych type presentation. Thank you

not only are the "details" rendered especially well, in the sense that each edge is accurate and each shard well placed, but the little nuances are not forgotton

as much beauty and intrigue in the smallest of things as easily as the largest.
and with this immaculate render you've helped us to discover a world within world.

I am completely blown away by your sheer talent on this piece. The shading on glass has to be so precise to get the proper effect and you have done it nearly picture-perfect. The reflections, the detail, the background...I can't find a flaw anywhere to speak of. I couldn't even tell this was a pencil drawing until I did a full-view. In complete honesty, this is a magnificent piece of artwork.
