Pencil and Colored Pencil on Oak Tag Board

This drawing is much more theoretical then most of my posts, but if you look closely it’s all composed of “real” objects, bones metal and so on.

I tried to keep the whole idea of 9/11, abstract, symbolic and personal without resorting to clichés, such as burning towers, American flags, airplanes, and other trite symbols that in my opinion where overdone. My objective was to show the confusion of that day, without a lot of finger pointing, but stressing the victimization and helplessness in an expressive composition.
