Description
A very belated birthday gift for featuring our respective interpretations of Antoine meeting face to face. His is from his fan comic Tales Of The Knights Of King Maximilian (which can be found in his gallery) and is a sorcerer (!), while mine's hails from the storyverse I established in Knight Errand. TKKM!Antoine is probably wondering what his doppelganger is wearing while KE-verse Antoine thinks this is some kind of practical joke by Sonic or something.This is the first time I've ever drawn KE!Antoine in the getup Fox Storm drew him in here fox-the-wandering.deviantart.c… , which I think really fits him (plus, him wearing something other then the classic blue and scarlet uniform is just kinda nice to see).

I really like KE Antoine's outfit (very dashy!) and I also love what you've done with TKKM Antoine's design (I see you kept the braid as well!)
That thing about the practical joke by Sonic was hilarious! I think they're both having a hard time guessing what's going on.
(Now that I'm looking at it more, it kinda looks like TKKM Antoine's just applied for a job and KE Antoine is welcoming him into the office! That's just my imagination being odd)

That's always what I wished the comics had gone for, because I think they are promising as villains and it would be very interesting to see just what they can do (plus I obviously have a soft spot for Patch, and the way he was written just didn't make sense: how can he be an evil mastermind who got away with killing one of the main character's (Antoine's) parents, and then seem utterly useless when he's written into a story arc?). I'm sure you'd do a good job at bettering them (whatever you do, it will still be better than Archie, anyhow) and I'm so happy Patch will be appearing in the story!

I feel like they were too focused on propping up Scourge. And I never understood why none of the Moebians ever got some kind of power-up that would let them challenge and fight Scourge on even footing. I assume they have access to science, tech, and magic on Moebius, right? Plus, Archie characters, from what I understand, seemed to just spontaneously develop traits and abilities based on what was needed to push the plot forward. Combine that with a desire to constantly create melodrama (instead od telling a solid story), and we have a villain competent enough to kill off a main character's dad but then be cheap cannon fodder in the next story.
That said, I have to be honest: I'm not fond of Patch, but I definitely want to do him justice as a foe worthy of Antoine and co. Same for the others.

It would have been fun to see the "Anti"s get a power-up to fight Scourge! But nope.
I like Patch obviously, but he's hardly in the comics so I basically have ended up inventing certain traits for him. I realize the original character is kinda flat.
That being said, I'm quite sure you will do him justice, because having an objective point of view for a character often means one manages to avoid glorifying said
character excessively.

Don't ever let anyone tell you there's anything wrong with that, because there's not. If you're going to write a story, then the characters need more then just one or two generic traits. I had to do the same for all the Sonic cast.
Thanks! I wish more fans would understand that. So many stories and things out there really would be more tolerable if writers weren't so fixated with worshiping the precious Cinnamon Roll character.

I wanted to have them going down his fingers in little sections instead of being limited to his fingers, but I wasn't sure if people would be able to tell just what they were and scrapped the idea.
