very much a work in progress.07/24/2018 Updated with Rusalka and Zuhar on Aphrodia. Also fixed some glaring font problems.
04/02/2018 Updated Lada and added a all completed portions of Aphrodia. Full sized map
10/19/2016 Added Lada Terra and completely changed the colors of the map. Still learning.
09/13/2016 Added Eistla Archipelago and Bell Regio (south of Ishtar)
09/07/2016 Added Metis Regio in the west of Ishtar. Added Latitude and Longitude lines.
09/06/2016 Updated with Tethus Regio, erased rivers and evened out all the ocean colors.

Venus doesn't have any water now, so what the coastlines on a terraformed / lush Venus look like depends on how much water you add to the surface (in your hypothetical scenario), and where the sea level is at.Β How did you decide how much water this version of Venus would have, what's the back story / rationale?

You've got some ancient Helvetia related names? Venus takes mostly female names. Or maybe I'll use that as a Capital.

Well ancient Helvetia no sorry and i don't think we can eventually find it :/
Though we have some mythical medieval creatures and semi-mythical heroines.
The ones that come to my mind are the 'Vouivre/Wiper/Vipera' (the continental equivalent of the Wyvern) and the 'Salamandre/Salamander/Salamandra' that both are said to take the form of a young lady in swamps.
Also you have the 'FΓ©e Verte/GrΓΌne Fee/Frau' (green fairy) sensed to inhabit our forests.
Following that, modern mythical figure can be taken in account : Heveltia, allegory of Switzerland, Jungfrau , allegory of the mounain of the same name, and Liberta, maybe from Freia, the germanic godess or mother mary, allegory of freedom.
Also we could count Heidi as a modern mythcial figure (i know less 'metal' xD)
Finally you have Reine Berthe/Queen Bertha/Bertha KΓΆnigin : a semi-mythical Burgundian queen said to have helped the poor.
