Wow, new DeviantArt, netherless - Visit my site!:Visit 2D Forever
If you disappear off the internet for more than one week, you're quite obviously dead. That's why everyone feels the need to write "I'm not dead!" if they haven't reported back to the internet masses.
I thought it would be a bit more suitable to illustrate such a thing - Seeing as I am back, 2D Forever is now on track and I somehow survived the interlude of no computer.
(And there's another submission to Macabre & Horror, hell yeah!)

That is some super amazing work! I love the perpective to the piece, it really adds to the creepiness. The coloring and shading is just perfect, I love how the moon is blurred a bit and is the tree branches in front of it. I really like the colors on his skin and dirt too :3

Nice to have you back! And great piece to come back with! The composition is excellent, the vertical and diagonals all cross well and keep the eye roving round for a good while. I like the fact the background seems to be collapsing in on the character too, makes it seem even more foreboding. The lighting is fab too, though had it been me, I'd have darkened his face a bit more, being out of line of the moonlight and given him glowy eyes, make it even creepier. And kudos on the arm anatomy too, they're just the right amount of curvy. Great stuff all round!
