That's right folks, another round from our friendly neighborhood Deviant DracoTyrannus, link: www.deviantart.com/dracotyrann… , . And today's request you could say is a callback to a previous one I did a while back in a way. I was asked to simply draw a Pokémon and Dinosaur King crossover, with Ash Ketchum's companion Pikachu and Maximus "Max" Taylor's companion Chomp playing together. The callback in question was another request I did for DracoTyrannus, that being the Mew and Kirara pic, link: www.deviantart.com/2gredvision… . Much like in that drawing, I chose to incorporate shadows in this pic that are being cast by these two cute, little critters. Few minor comparisons that these two characters have involve them both being electric based, and that both of their owners were voiced by the same actress in the English Dub, Veronica Taylor. For those who didn't know that, well there are your fun facts . Anyhoo, apologies for any Dinosaur King fans out there for the way how Chomp looks. I had to use lots of references to compare his size with Pikachu's, which also included how both looked sitting upon their owners (who I'm assuming are the same age and height , lol). It was also very hard to find any, or even a consistent, image of Chomp smiling in screenshots or videos. The little guy usually dons a blank expression most of the time, aside from anger or hunger, XD. So I had to be a bit creative about it. Hope you guys like the drawing .
