Description
Amazing. The images I have lying around on my hard-drives. I'm just too scared to clean the buggers up... lol.A trip from almost a year ago now with:
Gayle says, "Aww shoot Beau. The car won't start."
Beau replies, "Don't worry love. It's just a flat."
Matty snorts.
Duckie reaches for the camera.
Taken at Silverton, New South Wales (yeah, where they shot Mad Max).

at first I was going to ask when you'd been to Mexico, then read the comment and saw the RHD steering wheel placement.. LOL
Silly I know, but I am just eating fajitas and drinking tequila this afternoon.
I love this shot mate. The colours, harsh lighting and composition are rockin!.....
*cues spinifex roll through* and cut.

LOL. Thanks Mark.
*Thinks about making a comment about spinifex rolling through most of my shots - and the sound of crickets - but decides against it.*

Reminds me of Hawai'i, except the car is enveloped in plants and it's entirely rusted out.
I think passivation is quicker in humid areas than dry areas. Is there a lot of abandon cars?

Not really. As a photographer, I kinda search them out.

Oh I see. Does anyone do anything to get rid of them? I don't see the point, really...

I guess that's kinda where they got rid of them to. LOL. Just dumped them out where nobody would notice.

I love the "abandoned" feel of it - this would be a great place to photograph on a dark, cloudy day.

Doode. It's the middle of the desert - not lots of cloudy days.
(Mind you, ya dead right - stoopid deserts!)
