nice work. the only thing i would have done differently is shoot with a higher f/stop. the shallow DOF is kinda wierd to me. composition is awesome.

Really? I used a fairly large DOF. It was really dark inside the cave was the problem. I checked the front of the shot... the moss on the rocks seems in focus... and the waterfall itself was waaaaaaay back but it seems in focus too.

the foliage in the foreground is just a little soft, it's one of those things that drive me nuts in my own photos. the falls and most of the moss looks good. my attention was drawn to the larger leaves. Did you use a polarized filter? the upper right corner also looks a little overexposed because of glare. sorry to nitpick, it just seems that people either like bluntness or hate it, but either way at least something is learned by both parties.

Not at all mate. Nit pick away - that's the only way I will get better. I did use a polarising filter. Between the rainy day and the rain forrest, it was quite dark. The exposure time was way long - that prolly accounts for the top corner too.

right on. i probably would have shot that at at least f/5.6 maybe up to f/8. it would make everything a little sharper.

and there was real live Glow-worms in that cave mate - you just have to wait for all the other tourists to go away so you can see them.
