Hmmmmm ... I've never taken much notice of Link, but if it was me, I'd probably be looking at one of these for a base + a bit of Photoshop:

did you do anything specific/tricky with the drape for the gown on the woman? i mean, it intersects her hip, right? did you just ignore that in the collision or just start the cloth intersecting the figure and let it fall as it would from there?

Hmmmm... trying to remember now, it was a while ago, but I think I started with the cloth pane intersecting her body, and let it fall.
