Description
This is a tutorial for using dynamic cloth in Daz Studio 4.x.You'll need DS 4, and either a dynamic cloth item of choice, or something to convert to dynamic, as well as the DynCreator script from Renderosity.
Included is the following :
-- Converting a conforming item to dynamic cloth.
-- Converting a static prop to dynamic cloth.
-- A basic introduction to how to perform your first cloth drape and simulation.
The tutorial comes in a .pdf file, thanks to Sanbie and SkyLab's assistance in turning my forum posts into .pdf format.
If for some reason the download fails to work, you can also get the tutorial from my website, here :

Quite welcome! This is only the absolute basics. I did not cover things like the advanced dynamics controls, as my goal with this was to help someone who had never run a cloth drape before, be able to perform their first cloth drape.

Well, I've run a cloth drape before... One. That's all I've ever gotten to behave, just one. So I'm looking forward to getting into your tutorial this weekend, since I got that new DynCreator thingie and have had a couple spectacular failures with it already.

I'm not perfect with it either. Not by a long shot. But I have gotten a few sims to work, and there was someone over on HiveWire, on the thread we had talking about that script. She was asking questions on how to do it, but basically needed a whole step-by-step because she's just not familiar with the interface of DS at all. She's a Poser native user, trying to learn DS for content support purposes.
She was able to get several drapes to work successfully with exactly what is in this tutorial. So, hopefully it helps you out!
And if you get stuck or have questions, just let me know. If I don't know the answer, I'll find someone who does.
