Description
This was it. This was the end. I felt the pressure building up, and I felt the end nearing. I felt myself slipping. That voice was there again. Those thoughts came again. They were slightly different this time: “He’s happy without you. He doesn’t need you. Just give in.” They ran on an endless and painful loop in my head and heart. My body continued to ache, and my heart continued to sink. It felt like it was breaking.

I felt so alone. I just wanted the comfort of a friend. I wanted someone to be there for me, but no one was there for me. Someone to wrap their arms around me, to wipe away my tears. The end was here, and for me it would come without comfort or companionship. With barely any strength I managed to form a sentence.

“Arctic, I know you have friends and people who matter to you…” I gasped as I felt the final change coming. The pressure started building up in my face. This was it… With the last of my energy, I finished my sentence.

“I just h-hope you won’t forget me.” I shut my eyes for the last time, and uttered out my last words… He would never even hear them…
