The backdrop really is there to justify "space" since I can't make a shadow for depth.
I suppose it takes some skill to make a "rough".

I think the backdrop is perfect - anything else would detract the image of the ship.

I have to use a back drop because it doesn't make sense for plane to fly an inch above the ground, it can't cast a shadow on nearby object, so the backdrop is to emulate cloud or distant object.

This thing come with a background which I am working on. I am finding a way to make decent effect with less time.
