a little too grainy, I liked the original because it was nice and crisp. but the extra smoke stuff is a pretty sweet effect.

Something about it doesnt quite work for me either ,not the grain as such but the overall effect doesnt hang together somehow.I like the idea though so I think Im going to have to just keep plugging away at it till something clicks.

yes, just keep working with it, try different perspectives or something perhaps. or stagger the bulbs so they're not all even, I don't know what to tell you, just experiment and have fun with it

Yeah it has'nt quite worked as Id hoped and I think Ive probably over edited this one aswell.
Its smoke in the foreground as there wasnt enough interest for me with just the bulbs but I got myself caught between wanting a general haze for the light to fill and formed whisps etc.
This one might well be heading for scraps in the next couple of weeks.
