to be honest, i don't know why you called this art "crap" in the first place. Just because you don't think it deserves a DD doesn't mean it's crap. It's still art and if you don't have any constructive criticism on it, then you shouldn't comment. besides, i doubt the artist asked for the DD

it might still be art but IN MY OPINION(i can't believe i have to add this everytime when i voice a subjective opinion...)it's also still crap, , i don't care if the artist asked for the dd, and if he or she had any shame, they would withdraw it, and why should my critic of something which is deconstructing the meaning of art, be constructive?
this thing is boring to look at and does not deserve the exposure it's getting, stop acting like daily deviations are some kind of a lottery, on a website whose staff and members never get tired to use the term art i simply expect better
if this abomination made the frontpage and would thus gain exposure simply by means of popularit, i would not care, but in this case it's forced and unnecessary

If it's not helpful, then you shouldn't comment. If that's your opinion, then you should take it up with whoever's in charge of DDs, not the artist. I know what Daily Deviations are, and they're features. They're not prizes or rewards for doing something amazing; it just means the person who featured it liked it. "If you have a problem with a particular Daily Deviation feature, do NOT leave your disapproval among the other comments on the piece. It is disrespectful to the artist featured, the person who chose it and/or the person that suggested it." <-- that's what it says in the dA FAQ

Think many are expecting big art or photoshop work are worthy to be noticed. But pixel art is hard to do and animate depending what it is or have the hater forgotten about pixel art used on many DS games!!
