Here’s my tribute piece to the Gex novel, specifically, it’s ending. I figured they would go with something a little more PG, but I wasn’t expecting the outcome to be this radically different and give me feels on top of that. Well if I didn’t ship these two before, I certainly do now. fuck this book
I wanted the background to be symbolic with Agent Xtra stepping back into reality, leaving Gex to brood in his world of television like he always has.
The way the book ended, it wasn’t like she rejected him.It felt more like, feelings that were obviously there but never spoken because Gex didn’t have the courage to speak up. Maybe one day, they’ll meet again and give a lost chance another shot.
