www.patreon.com/A020Now neck deep, Chun-Li still didn't make herself struggle about or go into a panic. Now that she had calmed herself, she noticed something. While she still couldn't feel any bottom, she had stopped sinking. Better, she felt like she was floating. Thankful for that, she decided to pace herself since the vine she had looped around her hand now was holding very strongly to it's attached tree. It would take some serious time considering she noticed some weird plants nearby that looked liked it shot out the pink mist from before. At the moment, those plants didn't seem to do so.
She would break from her meditation, pull for a bit then stop to rest then return to her meditation. It was indeed slow but she wasn't sinking and was making slow but surely forward progress.

Nobody ever commented upon this installment? Her facial expression is so perfect and the text story compliments it well.
Chun-li is a sensible woman. She realizes that if she panics she's doomed. In fact staying calm and not struggling gives her the best chance of survival. She may even still be partly enjoying the sensation of the mud enveloping her while at the same time determined to win against it.
