Description
I already tried to draw this character in the "transformers Animated" fashion here . But it was just a basic redrawing staying true to the original toy design. I wanted to go further here by totally redesigning him like it is usually done in the Transformers Animated for the characters from G1 cartoon.I tried to make him more thin on the waist department by moving the car's doors and windows on the arms like I already did there .
It's surely not as good and dynamic as the originals TF Animated design but I hope it's close enougth to fool some unwarned people about this being official to the real cartoon
.It is still a static profile type pose but I'll soon do some action poses when I'll have more Gobots redesigned.

Good enough i would say - not to mention you made those red and blue marks from Turbo's face in the old cartoon look cool and that takes some planning.

The character was instantly recognizable from the thumbnail; but then I have my original Turbo figure standing above my computer in constant peripheral view, so I may be biased. In any case, I think it's a stylish rendition that maintains what was awesome about the character design while updating it to contemporary sensibilities as well.
