The giant woman continued to step toward the equally enormous Wasp with her fist in the air as if she wanted to strike her. The gigantic superheroine knew that most likely a huge fight would take place and she wanted to make sure that such a thing didn’t happen.

It wouldn’t be the first time that she had a giant size battle in the middle of a city but she knew the destruction that could be caused. Although the city around them was already mostly destroyed, there were still some survivors and any kind of battle would put their lives in danger. She was also concerned about her regulator as well; it was already damaged as it wouldn’t allow her to shrink back to her normal size. If it was damaged further then it would make her size unstable, the possibility of either shrinking to sub-molecular size or growing until she outgrew the planet were two big possibilities. A peaceful resolution to his situation would work to benefit everyone.

“Hey there,” said Wasp. She waved her hand at the giantess. She would have smiled but thanks to her helmet it would have been impossible for anyone to see it. “You might be wondering what I’m doing here, I must admit that I do too in a way. My name is Doctor Janet Van Dyne and I come in peace.” The giant woman didn’t seem to react too much but she did lower her hand. Wasp took this as a good sign as she thought that a peaceful end was just a few moments away. “If you could tell me what happened here maybe I can do something to help and also you don’t mind telling me how you grew so big? Did you use my Van Dyne Particles or are you a mutant or something?”

The giantess didn’t respond with words, instead her fist came into contact suddenly with Wasp’s helmet. The blow came much sharper than the superheroine expected and she couldn’t help but be taken off of her feet. The fall took much longer than she expected as well thanks to her size. She might have been several hundred feet but her body still fell at the same speed as if she was normal size. Because of this she felt like she was falling in slow motion and when she felt her body struck the ground it caused a small quake and cracks developed. She could feel some pain but her suit was designed to absorb impacts as best as it could. It made her more durable but not invincible.

For a few moments Wasp was both dazed and confused but when she saw the giantess looming over her with her foot lifted in the air she quickly rolled backwards and got back up to her feet. It seemed like the time of diplomacy had ended so rather than thinking of a peaceful resolution she had to come up with a quick one. Thanks to her training she was quite efficient with hand to hand combat and she was sure that with these skills she should win the fight before it dragged out too far.

“Ok big girl!” stated Wasp. There was a slight hint of annoyance in her voice. “I tried to be nice, now I’m ended it right now!”

With that Wasp went to punch the giantess and she thought that her opponent would at least try to dodge. Instead she stayed still and soon Wasp’s punch struck her right in the abdomen. However rather than reacting to the attack the giantess acted as if nothing had happened. This shocked Wasp who then felt an iron like grip on her wrist. She gave a small scream of pain as she felt herself get lifted off of her feet and slammed down to the ground. The giantess had used some kind of judo flip on Wasp and it further damaged the ground below them. If this was a heavily populated city it was likely that many people would have been hurt or worse in this situation. Thankfully there was practically no one around so that was at least one thing that the superheroine didn’t have to worry about.

Wasp began to stagger up to her feet but soon she found herself unable to catch her breath as the giantess’s arm wrapped around her neck. Quickly applying pressure Wasp found herself in a chock hold as the giantess stood behind her and increased the pressure on Wasp’s neck with every passing moment. Although her suit was helping in the fight it couldn’t help her from getting choked out.

Despite all of her intelligence and skill Wasp didn’t have too many options in breaking out of the choke hold. If she didn’t break out soon, she would most likely black out and it was most likely that it would cost her everything. Her first attempt was to elbow the midsection of the giantess. She did this over and over again but it did little to stop what was happening, her helmet was warning her that she was in danger. This annoyed her as she didn’t need to be reminded of such things.

The most unnerving thing about all of this was that the giantess seemed to be completely emotionless about all of this. She didn’t show any kind of effort or reaction to either her own actions or Wasp’s. She continued to have the same blank look on her face and it made her seem like she was some kind machine rather than an actual person. It would answer a lot of questions but right now this was the last thing on the Wasp’s mind.

In the end she resorted to swing her head back into the face of the giantess. At first the hold was not released but as she continued to headbutt the giantess the impacts became too much for her. The grip was released and Wasp staggered forward as she began to catch her breath. Her vision had gone blurry for a moment but as she began to see clearly after a few moments she began to see properly. She did notice some blood dripping out of the nose of the giantess. The headbutts had done some damage but it didn’t seem like she really registered them.

There was one option that was in front of Wasp but it was a risky one. This was the fact that she could enlarge herself further but she knew that there was great danger with doing this. Not only due to the fact that for the time being that she couldn’t shrink herself but also the toll that it would take on her body. Being this size was dangerous enough for her, growing any larger would put herself in serious jeopardy.

Before she could make any plan of action Wasp felt a strong kick to the chest that caused her to stagger back and she felt herself winded again. The giantess didn’t approach particularly quickly as she could see that the end of the fight was near. It was obvious to anyone to see that Wasp was simply overpowered in this fight. It seemed like there was nothing that the gigantic superheroine could do.

However, just as the giantess reached the dazed Wasp, she suddenly felt a strong punch to the face. She hadn’t seen anything except what seemed to be a yellow flash of light and a fist. It caused her to fall to the ground again but with inhuman speed she was able to get back up to her feet. If she could feel surprise, she would have been with what she could see.

The gigantic Wasp was standing up fully once again but that wasn’t the only thing that she was doing. The wings that she used to fly around when she was tiny were fully raised as if she was about to take off. However, she had no notion to do that, instead it was more like she was an animal who was about to take on someone that she saw as a threat.

Not just that but Wasp’s clenched fists were glowing as well. The glow was a yellow colour and it was very similar to when she would use her wasp sting energy blasts when she was tiny. This was the first time that she had used anything similar to this at an enlarged size. She had not fired a single blast but had energised her fists and struck with more power than she could normally muster.

Although her face was completely covered up by her helmet it was obvious for anyone watching that Wasp was angry. Her body was almost shaking with rage and at her size it was incredibly intimidating.

“I’VE HAD IT WITH YOU!” shouted Wasp. Her voice was loud enough to shatter any glass that was nearby. “I’VE TRIED TO REASON WITH YOU BUT YOU WOULDN’T LISTEN! AND NOW I’M ENDING THIS FIGHT RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!”
