Like all superheroes in Holy Rome, the Imperator is not a name but an office. Rather than an inherited title or a unique individual, superhuman soldiers are elected to the office of Rome's greatest via exemplar demonstration of strength, skill, intelligence, discipline and piety. Like all of Rome's nobility, this Imperator has been trained since birth for warfare, state craft and Pious devotion to The Architect, to Rome and to Rome's people. By her teen years already a master of martial fighting and diplomacy, when her Titan powers awoke in a battle against the Ill Wind. Armed with newfound great power of strength and energy projection as well as untapped mental abilities, she was able to lead her fellow soldiers to ward off the old rulers of the woods, cementing her roll as a superhero of Rome.

Years later she would dawn the mask of Imperator, a helmet to hide her identity and represent office and state over individual drive. A hero of the people of Rome.

But her Triumph would be short lived, as the Ill Wind would return leading an enormous force of corrupted pagans in a devastating blitz against the empire, a scar on history that would go down as the disasters Balkans campaign, costing many lives and resulting in the exile of an entire legion. With Rome in such a weakened state, it would fall to the Imperator to lead the holy league out of these dark times and into a new golden age...
