A friendly Creole girl from the swamplands of the south. Growing up as one of the many reptilicus in the poor communities, she developed a knack for self sufficiency, and more so for lending some of that sufficiency to others. Always arm length inside an engine or a busted generator, she rapidly gained a head for machines and became beloved as a cornerstone of the post Zil swamp dwellers uneasy life..

But life in the Swamplands has not improved since the war of 1999. With Louisiana reduced to a mass of deltas, flood waters destroyed even many cities that had escaped the initial Zil invasion. Rebuilding over the decades has been slow and many have resorted to setting up floating towns among the waterlogged ruins, rebuilding what they can and salvaging the rest. The United States federal government, and any semblance of relief a long gone pipe dream, most city-states and frontier townds find themselves alone against the world...

Dixy has spent her adult life traveling all along the flooded coasts of the swamplands, offering help and repairs to any who needed them and keeping decades old machines chugging along.

Her travels were interrupted one day, by the psychic roar emanating from the Yucatan basin. A roar powerful enough to drive some to madness. To Humans it just sounded like a disaster approaching, but something deep within the DNA of all Reptilicus awoke, a warning as deep as the very genetics that built them. Triothadon was coming...

Dixy Angel did not know who or what this being was, but something in her very genetic make up was warning her of impending disaster. To protect her home and all the good people living there, it would take more than just a few repaired machines. She would need other heroes, and to be part of a team...
