Description I made some progress on the wings and tail before new projects grabbed me by the scruff and shoved me back to real work
Still not fully satisfied with the placement and proportion of that wing thumb. But I will get there.

Last bit is the tail. Tiny, tiny, vertebrae, millions of them. And cartilage ribs for the tailfin which I will probably add as modeled elements as well. It just looks more interesting that way.
Mapping all those new bones will be fun since I found a new toy to help with that.

Enjoy the bone stew!

Looks very interesting.
The only thing that, on two feet, looks slightly "odd" is about the fingers in the wings. They almost look too thick compared to the body.
I would probably make the fingers gradually thinner, but is just what i see right now.
This detail aside ( which is a bit splitting hair), she is coming out great!
OMG, i bet the tail is going to be a pain in the back.

I can see what you mean by the thickness of the wingfingers. I plan to make the arm bones of the wings a bit stronger. Maybe that would help for the overall look.
Slimming down the finger bones any more would not be such a great idea. They are already very frail.

Really looking forward to rendering this! Yes, the bones are thin, but a dragon has to work hard to stay airborne AND maintain a high core temperature for fire breathing. So heavy bones are metabolically disastrous

Thanks
I want to make them look a bit different to what we are used to from dinosaurs and known species, so the thinner bones might just work there.

I think it works. Who says Dinosaur bones are made of 'bone' anyway?

I think the Bones are too thin and weak horns are completly missing and its a wrong pelvis pls look on the two different pelvises at dinosaur bones

There will be horns present in another version, but that is still in the future.
About the delicate bones: maybe I will make them thicker. Don't know yet. So far I like the more fragile look.

About the pelvis: well I think everybody has a different view on dragons. Who is to say which type or shape of bone on any given piece is "right" or "wrong"

Edited for typos.
