Sorry for the deception LOL this is just a concept and a mockup xDif you're a programmer, and are interested in creating this application by all means, do it. i'll contribute the graphics and help testing. but unfortunately i'm not a programmer =/
if you would like to see this application become a reality i would suggest that you SPAM EVERY PROGRAMMER YOU KNOW with a link to this.
the download has the psd and image in it for anyone who wants it.

that doesn't work. you can make the border a rounded image, but windows paints a corner there using the colors defined in sysmetrics

Wow awesome concept, unbelievable Microsoft cant even make a good looking context menu with all the billions they have and here you came and designed something thats visually years ahead of Microsoft with minimal resources and time.

Ive been searching (for about 4 hours) to see if your concept can be created into a design and I have found absolutely nothing to be able to do this, but this guys concept (Project six-5 - Concept by *Jaychou1811) and your concept would be amazing

that's a little pessimistic mate. the objective here is to get the idea out there. obviously if everyone approaches this the same way that you have, then you're probably right about it not getting made.

I've worked with windows shell/UI hacking, and I know hard/impossible things when i see them. This would require a application that hooks into context menus and replaces them with it's own - that would be extremely impractical and would slow down menu showing (unless it's a shell replacement, which is even worse). Or make a skin app which draws it's own skinning guideline throughout entire GUI in windows - windowblinds does that, and it can offer this sort of skinning. But coding a app that does JUST the context menu skinning would be hard and pointless in my opinion.
