Yes, bashing people for different opinions is bad (And I agree if it's about people saying that they don't like it or isn't their cup of tea with reasons kept to themselves or they don't know, or they're not too big on it).

As much as I hate to admit it, I was like that to some people (except my friends who I respect their opinion) who has harsh, negative and offensive opinions on things I like the most, like Sword Art Online (because of Romance), My Little Pony (As Little Kuriboh would say in The Mark Remark, WOMEN!), Power Rangers (because of race and cultural stuff, and also for the sake of children, I mean, Blood in Kid's tokusatsu is really violent. Yes, Japanese kids are fond of mild bloody violence on Tokusatsu for kids, but it would be a problem if a Tokusatsu airs with a TV-Y7 rating and it gets controversy for either censorship or violent stuff.), WWE, etc.

However, saying my opinion about how the things I mentioned in front of the haters, as if its the best thing ever, would make the situation worse, as they would keep talking shit about it. Look at that imbecile of Professor Otaku with his hatred towards Seraph of the End, Sword Art Online, Naruto, etc. Sorry if I said that, I don't want SAO, MLP, Power Rangers to die out because everyone hates it. (Popular or not.) Look at Marvin Marvin, a Nickelodeon sitcom I am not fond of, got cancelled because everyone hates it. But I don't wanna be selfish and lonely towards my opinions just because I shouldn't care about what people say about my interests.

And people say that defending their own things is equals being a rabid fanboy, which isn't true. There are some people who like their things and they defend it, and some people aren't calling them rabid, while they disagree or their opinion still stands. Look at Fuck Yeah Controversial Characters/Fuck Yeah Controversial Ships/Fuck Yeah Controversial Entertainment, they put their defenses with their unbiased evidences, which they do better than I do.

I really wish that hate wouldn't be stronger than love. Yes, I am a hypocrite in this one, sue me.
