He looks cool, yes. It's a well-built sculpture, yes.
But he doesn't look alien enough to be what I call "alien." To me, he looks like something humans would evolve into.
But don't get me wrong: It's great-looking! It's a lot better than I can do!

Amazing! Absolutely exquisite detail...it's interesting because I have been thinking of a particular species for a long time now, thinking of the general characteristics of the virtually smooth profile, large eyes, and almost reptilian features such as the "ears." This image captures my thoughts perfectly. But what I like most of all about this picture is the depth and emotion in his eyes in spite of the passiveness of his face.
