Painted this about 3 years ago and posted here on DA 3 times and it was deleted 3 times. I still dont understand why i have painted so many celebrities and and superheroes but they just had to delete this one. it was just a freaking fan art so i dont really see what the big fucking deal is. anyways here it is again.the character copy right belongs to Marvel.

oh ok.. ya i actually like the new one alot more compared to Toby's spidey. the new one feels more like spiderman to me and he still has a character after he puts on the costume. much better acting in my opinion

is it because of Copyright infringement from Marvel or a DeviantART user reports it?

Marvel wouldn't report it. My thoughts are that some deviantart user reported it as copyright infringement and cited some other artist on another webpage who actually stole this artwork and claimed it as their own. DA saw that, mistook the thief as the original artist and removed this one in confusion.
That's the only way I can see this wonderful artwork getting removed; not because it's a fanart, but because it's a mix-up of art "theft".

Yeah, Thanks for Explaining me this. although It's really rare for a corporation to file a DMCA on deviations. It is even said on Wikipedia that Most DMCA removals are from Users reporting the photos. and suddenly YouTube is a mixture of both. but hey I also like Fan Art. XD

True. Fan Art isn't necessarily Illegal. It's only illegal If someone steals other work or maybe stole some references from other stuff.. and profiting of course other than that It's fine. I also have no problem with Fan Art I actually love fan Art that's one of the reasons why I joined DA.

This really deserves the dd it recieved!! this is by far the most spectacular piece of art i have ever encountered. Hopefully now it has recieved a dd, it will not be removed. i am now going to explore your gallery. a wonderful mix of detail and blur, i find this absolutely facinating. wonderful job, fellow deviant.

deviantart: where motivational posters and badly traced doll bases can run free, but a beautiful peace of spider-man fan art is constantly deleted. go figure.

My guess is that it was deleted because someone didn't do their research well enough and thought it was being stolen, not because it's fanart.

Okay, so this was reported and deleted 3 times, for no reason, and today it's a DD? I think DA should REALLY look at something before they delete it, I've seen FAR worse, and this is something I could expect to see hanging in a Spiderman hall of fame.
