AttentionThis does not work for bigger breast sizes.
It has been reported that from C-Cup on, it is hurtful, doesn't sit right and often won't look good. Sorry.

for a little bit of extra protection from the tape, is it possible to wear those adhesive bra pad things? you know, the kind you find in lingerie stores for dresses that have weird/plunging necklines?

The only thing that I can imagine to work is to use a binder and wear a skincolored zentai over it

ugh...i had a terrible time with this. Is this meant to work with all breast sizes? i have very heavy, average-large breasts and this did NOT work at all :\ i had to use WAY more tape than specified and even then they just ripped themselves free

As I said it always depends on your body, the binding and the way it is carried out, but I guess I will write a more specific warning now!

I did my first open-chest binding this past week and I have to say -- this is spot on! Thank you so much for the reference!
I also found it much easier to get everything shifted into the correct positions by letting gravity do all the work -- I laid out on the floor while applying the tape and everything worked perfect.

Better try it before the con, and for a shorter time, so you will notice if it starts to hurt somewhere you can take it off immediately!

Maybe it would be a better idea to get a good binder and sew a tight shirt out of nude-colored pleather? I used this method before I discovered Open chest binding and it didn't look too bad! [link] I'm using this method here.
It's not perfect, but it's much better than getting hurt and if you use the photoshop blur/content awareness-tool, nobody will see it in pictures
