Ugly, askew, undeveloping, disproportional. The usual.I wonder when I'll be able to draw him like Kishimoto-san. My progress is simply astounding.

I like him more Kishi's way :3 Itachi is a small, slender man, but a man nonetheless, or a boy rather, and Kishimoto catches it perfectly. He creates him this way.

I like the way Kishi draws him, this 'fat', thin little boy, just a shinobi and not sexy or hot or something T___T *Abigel buries her head in hands for not being able to draw Itachi the way she likes him*

you should not put yourself down! a lot of kishi's drawings go against all laws of proportions, and he basically copies and pastes his own artwork! seriously, itachi has the same expression on his face 9 times out of 10 (and the expression is usually from the same angle). and this doesn't just happen to itachi. and he is completely disillusioned about BMI. my friend is 5'7" and weighs 125 lbs and is on the thin side because of her height. she's only 16 and yet she has the same proportions as an 18 year old itachi. which makes even less sense because ninjas are in shape and muscle weighs more than fat. yet everyone in the ninja world looks fat or at least out of shape. though i suppose it's nice that they look more on the normal side...
but STILL you should not put yourself down! you put emotion and effort into your drawings. that's a lot more than kishi.

Well, Itachi looks the same, because he is that type : P And I use another metric system, but in I part he had 175 cm/57.2 kg (5'9"/126) and now, as Kishi mentioned somewhere, he "grew up a bit" to 178 (5'10"). So yes, that's still very little for a man, that's why I called him "little" : ) I checked most of BMIs of the Naruto people I was interested and true, Kishi may neglect this muscels mass, which as you said should give more weight, but he is consistent and makes everyone that uhm disproportional. Well, I noticed Tsunade has distincly bigger BMI than other females... ; ) Anyway, It may be because ninja life takes its toll and the exertion of mission/training burns all the redundant fat. Personally, I'm allright with such little weight of Naruto charas ^^

oh yes! i know what you need - you need to get yourself a shithead teenage flamer (don't look at me^^) to leave comments about how sucky your tastes and pics are) i assure you it will fill you with the sence of self-confidence and divine rightness every time you kick the shithead till it's bleed ))) i wonder why you do not have such a flamer yet)

That's an awesome idea, there should a colony/factory of flamers for stupid fangirls to raise their self-confidence to spam world even more XD And of course a hall of fame for them, to show how strong and bjutifull they are for adoring this cold-blooded murdered ; )
