Wow! This is a great image! I love the poses and the sense of movement, and the Shrike looks truly terrifying. Also, I just googled The Hyperion Cantos--totally going to give that a read now!

This is great, I just finished reading Hyperion this week and really enjoyed it. I love your interpretation of the Shrike, the illustrations on the covers of the books are so cheesy, your version is really dynamic and elegant and more akin to what I had in mind while reading. Good job.

Its true, I couldnt find too many good Shrikes, so I just had to make my own. I believe that since it was created by a superior intelligence it should be elegant and almost organic in its design.
