I love all the crisp contrast ... and the petals look all ... sort of ... juicy. I don't understand people that can manage all that dark (pencil, I'm assuming ... ? If that's charcoal, I'll kill you, I swear) shading and still get in so much detail. Beautiful stuff.

Oh, no, charcoal is too messy. The whole piece is strictly pencil. Petals are juice because of soft ripples put in along the edge! Mt white lilies didn't have those and seemed very stiff, almost papery. But ho! Not these
