My first impression, is simply "wow", this is great piece . The lightning and contrast are impressive, the color use are harmonize and support each other.Β Β
TheΒ scene and atmosphereΒ are great, the light source, the expression of the character, the subtle background behind are really contrast in tone with the character, make it perfectly blend . Although , the background itself is great, the silhouette person on the left, somehow disturb the overall balance of the piece, its either it is out of place, or there, only one of them it feel "lonely".
Overall it is a great piece, love the works. Look forward for the next piece

I can't draw comics because of my tendonitis. I'm also not really a fan of crossovers

I really like the mix of the realistic aspect (Lars) and the cartoony aspect (Jastra) that are both in the photo.
The coloring is very well blended in and it really does fit with the environment they seem to be in.
I also like the details with the lighting!
I notice in the backround there are some like openings to the sky/air barrier.
So It gives me a perspective that I can imagine theres still stuff up above them but theres enough light to shine through it, thats pretty neat I gotta say!

First, congrats on the DD! I thought I had seen this piece somewhere in passing, so that would explain it.
I love the realism on the guy's face to the left, and it has that graphic novel/comic book feel to it. It's very in place and matches the entire mood. Your female Bothan contrasts very nicely to this, and the two seem to balance each other out.I especially love her color scheme, and that expression I especially like.
Lastly the background seemed to blend into the bottom, but the characters pop out and seem right at home with what's going on. It's simple but conveys the atmosphere as well.
