She looks like she's looking forward to the fight, he looks like he wants to be someplace else but he's a detective and has a job to do. Putting your sig on his sleeve is a nice touch.

This is just so impressive. You're able to achieve realistic lighting with minimum brush strokes (not to mention the detailing on the characters in itself). Each line and shading/color is done deliberately and purposely. That to me is a sign of true skill. Awesome work!

The lady reminds me of the ancient Egyptian god Anubis - the one with the wolf's head.
The man.. I like the three-day beard. It looks like he is staring all the more harder with his good eye, having lost the other one..

This has a fine film noir look to it, which works for Bothans from what I remember about them from SW Legends.
I also like the idea of a cross-racial/species adoption. There's always room for great character and story ideas in that.

The lightning looks amazing, I also like the overall colour scheme. Their body language looks good, too. While Lars looks totally calm and collected, Jastra seems a little excited. I also like the particles in the air, nice detail

classic, with some slight alterations because of stuff we've done to change the course of certain events

When I first saw this piece I started writing a long praiseful remark on bothan beauty that referenced the expertise of Derek Klivian - only then it struck how the Disney EU slashed his entire backstory. And everything bothan except for one sentence. The Mouse took them.
Good to see they live on elsewhere.

Guess I never realized how short Jastra was... But, I now recall reading (a looooong time ago...) in the old EU that Bothans are a bit shorter then humans.
