Description "While Link collected the three Spiritual Stones, Ganondorf launched an attack on Hyrule Castle. This extreme measure was an attempt to steal the Ocarina of Time, a treasure of the Sacred Realm under the protection of the royal family."

Another countryball picture, depicting the Siege of Hyrule from Ocarina of Time that pretty much occurs while link is getting the third spiritual stone. Here I made sure the "siege" looked like a legit Siege and not a Gerudo thief going all "one man army"on Hyrule, with the Gerudos possession siege engines and the hylians possession anti-siege measures, such as molten oil and ballistas mounted on the gates (as well as trebuchets erected in castle town).

Personally this doesn't fit the game for me - Ganondorf was always a one man army from what I remember and I don't remember Gerudos ever using siege equipment. Even then I prefer Ganondorf assassinating the king or something and then kicking Zelda and Impa out himself along with Twinrova. But then again this photo ain't canonical so yeah. Probably one of many ways this could've gone but this doesn't seem to fit the game nevertheless. Gerudos were never really trouble aside from Ganondorf and his mothers. Granted they WERE known to look for boyfriends but I certainly don't remember them ever hating Hyrule. Ganondorf's weak to light arrows so I don't see him ever wanting a SINGLE person shooting arrows on his side. Also, where in the world did Hyrule ever get fancy stuff like this? Legend of Zelda's universe isn't medieval so they could've had machine guns or something but that could've been outta place. Even then I think ballistas and whatever the hell's in here is overkill compared to how the guards in the game were - bunch of idiots.

Again, personally when I think of Ganondorf attacking Hyrule I've always thought of Twinrova and Ganondorf, kinda like how Bowser and Kamek attack together usually. But since the game gives you virtually no info other than some guy saying that they don't see gerudos that much (Referring to Ganondorf and Twinrova) and the guard mentioning Ganondorf's "Men" (Which were probably floormasters or redeads) probably was poisoned by Ganondorf himself.

THAT or it was just Ganondorf himself. Even before he even got his triforce piece he could already do some serious damage! Really now, why would Ganondorf need Gerudos - let alone a friggin' siege? The entire siege of hyrule to me is Ganondorf himself - he could've just gone through hallways like that one scene in Rogue One's ending and just murder guards left and right by annihilating them with dark magic. Zelda herself to me was the only defender as an archer most likely (Either with a bow and arrow or crossbow and a shit ton of light arrows or even regular ones) to try to kill him. Nevertheless the whole thing is just poorly told ingame, and it's shit like this that's about as vague as something like the actual meaning of life.

Sorry to rain on your parade, it's just that's the way I've always visioned this. BUT if Ganondorf couldn't take a punch for shit and had no powers, this would be the way to go, but remember, he's a goddamn tank.

Yeah I saw that too. Personally I don't want to be a hater but both of these photos don't fit Zelda at all in my opinion. Granted they are nicely done...

i have a little request.

My countryball for the kingdom of hyrule and a smaller countryball representing Princess zelda. For the background use this as reference:
orig13.deviantart.net/9fe3/f/2…

Hyruleball's crown is supposed to be based on the crown seen on the king of hyrule in BotW: www.maxim.com/.image/t_share/M…

The smaller countryball's tiara is mean to be based on zelda's tiara from wind waker: orig04.deviantart.net/4ec5/f/2…

wind waker, the first zelda game that proved that hyrule is indeed ruled by a king.

And i still maintain that fantasy kingdoms are technically countries
