I bought a set of Moleskine journals a while ago with the intention to customize them. This the first one. I had planned for something simple, with just black marker and maybe a touch of white but somewhere along the line i got carried away with all that hair...

So i used a black marker, a 2B and a white pencil and white acrylic on a 9x14 cm plain Moleskine journal.

Wow. I love this drawing so much. The emotion on the girls face shows an almost longing for a lost loved one, it is just so beautiful and the hair complements it so perfectly. I love the paper it is drawn on also, it gives the picture just so much more depth. I could stare at this picture all of my life and never get bored of it. To me this drawing is an image of heaven. Wonderful work!

It doesn't seem to, though i might have to use a sealer or fixative just in case.
