Description
+ I don't even know where to start with this wedding! Jensey and I have been so fortunate for these past 3 weddings; from close friends to beyond-romantic getaways, it's all been incredible. This past weekend, Jensey and I went to New Orleans for a sort of destination/elopement wedding with April and Josh. (Ask and I'll explain more.)+ Since we were the only 'guests', we had about 4 hours of photography time with JUST the couple! It was a photographers dream situation; amazing location with no time boundaries. A true bridal session, a gorgeous cermony, and the longest couples session we've ever had. I don't think I can express in words how much fun it was. And April was such a perfect model for all of this! Spin around and look cute? No problem! Get the dress dirty for the sake of art? Of course!
+ As Jensey and I post more, I hope you'll see just how amazing this wedding was!
+ Edit: None! (Almost) A little pop in Adobe Camera Raw, but the location was pretty much perfect to begin with!

4 hours was a dream! We'll probably never have the same opportunity again, but the setting and people couldn't have been a better fit. Thank you so much for your comments!

this is beautiful! i love how the lighting works well with the place in the background and the outdoors feeling with the tress and ground is something you normally wouldn't see with a wedding photograph because the bride wouldn't want to get the dress dirty. i really like the way she's holding the dress. :]
you were lucky to get so much time to photograph with them! great work, can't wait to see more from both of you. <3

This is a really great photograph. And the setting looks so nice and peaceful, no wonder she's taking a twirl.

Very nice shot, it's just beautiful. It's fun and playful, and truly unique I believe. I can't wait to see what else you have from this one.
Where was this at exactly?

Ooo lucky! Sometimes I want to buy a dress just so I can play around in it.
