Description
+ So, it's official that Jensey and I love early morning sessions. Kate and Robby really worked it! We spent about an hour walking around Park Ave, just playing with the light and trees. Awesome stuff.+ Enjoy!
+ Oh, and don't forget to go vote in our 100th Post Extravaganza ! Whoever wins gets a beautiful gallery wrapped 16x20 canvas print from Root Photography.

Not 100% sure, but I think it was the Canon 28-135mm that comes with the 40D kit.

That's an awesome shot.
It would look better with just the woods in the background though
I really like the lighting in this!

I completely agree! But shooting in a downtown area with no woods makes it kinda tough.

couleur [2007-12-10 14:41:57 +0000 UTC]
that s very spiritual, did you use a soft filter or an ND grad with some little over exposure technique?

achfoo In reply to couleur [2007-12-12 16:32:57 +0000 UTC]
I guess the honest answer would be photoshop. The original, however, was equally stunning. I didn't use any special filters on the camera.

I would go for a closer crop to get that WM trashcan out of the frame Other than that I love the lighting and the pose!

Gah! I knew someone'd notice that sooner or later! Of course, I didn't see it until post-processing and I haven't wanted to take the time to edit it out.
As always, thanks for checking it out, Danielle. How's business these days?

Maybe I only notice it because I'm a fellow Floridian, and it's the same trash can that I own Business is slow as molasis. But a lot of that is my fault. I'm not cutthroat enough to get out there. I'm supposed to showcase my business at our local bank though, so that's pretty cool

Oh, congrats on the feature! That's something we reallly need to get behind and starting pushing for more. Best of luck with business!
Oh, and I haven't completely forgotten about that interview. I'm so sorry on that delay! (Truth be told, I did forget about the Word doc on my laptop for a while.) If I don't get it to you Sunday, you can spread nasty rumors that I shoot with Nikon.
