Description
So I had someone wanting to see how I created the fake woundsI have no experience with SFX, but it was fun to do
So here is a tutorial on how to make real looking wounds without any prior knowledge on the subject.
If you have any questions about it just ask me in a comment and I'll try to answer as best as I can.

You did a great job on the actual wound, but is there any way of making the edges a bit more blended and less obvious?

The reason that they ended up being so obvious here is because the latex absorbed the colour better than the skin. I havent tested it out, but I think that if you apply a layer of foundation or concealer before the lipstick then it would be smoother and blend into the skin tone.
I'll have a try at it tomorrow and see

I had a try at it today. It proved to be easier with an eye-shadow brush. I used the brush to apply the lipstick and dabbed it around. It takes a little longer though. Here is how it turned out: [link]

I use soft paper, or ''WC paper'' hehehe

when it's still wet I deform it for make different effects^^

We had someone come to Brownies to do this ages ago. The girls loved it! They each wanted 'injuries' more gross than the one before! Luckily, we told the parents, otherwise there would have been a lot of questions!
