so this means Vray can keep lines while rendering? i mean i use lines that are not softed to define the hull panels, but in kerky or keyshot they dissapear...

Yes and no, it wont keep lines that are continuous (hard to explain) but like if you wanted to keep lines for a door on the side of a car for example. To do that you have to offset the line and perhaps push it slightly in so that there is a clear change in the geometry for the line to occur. Sorry I cant explain it any better.

You could export a 2D image from SU and overlay it on a render in PS if you wanted to keep the modelling lines.

so it's something more like "profiles" in sketchup rather than just lines, tight? i do the overlay method so far, but that doesn't work with keyshot, it doesn't keep the scenes from sketchup... eitherway, thanks for the reply.

Yeah to be honest, I only use Roundcorners, joint push pull and Artisan. All of the other icons ive got, i might have used at some stage to try but don't use anymore now.

I dont use vray, but this was informative.

I have to do my "what does your SU look like?" tutorial. Because I have icons you don't have and you have a ton that I don't...

It would be equally informative I think if we explain what we have and why...
