lol not just the colours, but the hat and cape look similar too, not to mention she is also a unicorn, when I first saw her I instantly thought she was Trixie and to be honest, I still do XD

I think most wizard/ high magic type unicorns wear the hat and cape? (at least this is what I gather from the Halloween episode where Twilight dresses up) no idea though. I think her OC still is different enough though, I didn't really think about Trixie when I saw her, maybe because the hair and cape color, etc., was different enough for me, but I can see some similarities now XD

I think only a named new where capes and hats in the show, Trixie and Star Swirl are ones that I know who do, but hay, I am not against anyone's OC having them, I was just pointing out that that particular OC reminded me of The Great and Powerful Trixie! :3

I'll likely have a journal with price and specific guidelines when I open again I guess if it were the piece above it would be 15-20 USD.
The other commissions I've done (in my scraps) were about 6-8$ give or take, just for one pony with basic coloring

awesome thank you, even though that is just going off other commissions, that has helped me gauge where I am at with my idea, which is simple really, I wanted for sometime to have my OC done in his older appearance, that's basically it

so I await for when you are ready to accept commissions again and, depending on how well it turns out, that may not be the only time I will commission you

Awww, thank you so much !

I simply duplicated the flattened pony layer, flipped it upside down and lowered the layer opacity. Then, I erased a little of the upper half to give it the effect of vanishing a little, and then used the smudge tool to move the colors around the ripples. :>

Ohh, I see. I would have thought that to be a good method Turns out it is. I would have preferred challenging myself with a reflection though, but that's just me |D I mean, painting a reflection would be hard. That's why I don't make anything dealing with reflection. Ha!
