I'm interested in skulls like many people. Haven't painted one until now though, would like to expand upon this piece some more.__________________

I love skulls too! This is quite a nice piece... I love the gritty appearance and color of the cloth. I usually don't like such strict symmetry, but it adds to the piece's eerie mood.
It's a bit ambiguous as to what animal the skull belonged too... but that just adds more to that eeriness for me!

Oh! I see, it's the bottom view resting on it's face!
I wouldn't have thought of depicting it like that... I would have painted it the same boring frontal view as I was expecting!
